REBECCA FROM ITALY 7-31-19 Hi to all of you involved in theater in Athens, My name is Allyson Sicard, and I work for AFS Intercultural Programs, a high school exchange organization that has been around for more than 70 years. I am reaching out today to ask if you can help us spread the word that we are looking for a host family for an Italian girl who loves acting and singing… I think she could be a great fit for one of your theater families! Please meet Rebecca from Italy (16) – Rebecca enjoys acting and singing the most, but also has interests in reading, writing, and art. She is described as outgoing, curious and family-oriented, and she looks forward to the challenge of being an exchange student. I have attached a short bio so that you can read more about her as well as a social media ready one that is easy to share! If you know anyone who might be interested in hosting her, please feel free to forward my email or ask them to put in an inquiry at https://www.afsusa.org/host-family/, and I will take it from there. We would even be open to a family who could simply welcome her for 8-12 weeks so that we can get her here and she doesn’t miss too much school. With your help, I know we can find a family for this student… we just need to “cast a wide net” and get the word out about her. Thanks so much for anything you can do! Warm regards, Allyson _____________________________ Allyson H.
